Go Green on Koolred!

Earth Day this year fell on April 22. Tonnes of emails went out in companies worldwide urging employees to among other things; ‘think before you print’ and ‘switch off the lights when leaving the meeting room’.

Another few emails went out inviting employees and their families to join in nature excursions. Walks to mini rainforests and nature reserves were organised for staff to enjoy a back-to-nature experience.

How often do we think green? With Earth Day, we are reminded (for at least one day) of our environment and how we can play our part to protect it.

It’s so easy to create events in conjunction with special occasions such as Earth Day. What is even more easier is inviting other members to join the event and even indicating if they will be able to make it or not. A normal phenomenon in FRIM .... patterns formed by tree crowns with gaps in between where the skylight shines through. Fantastic photo opportunities here.

The canopy walkway...located 30m above the ground. This 200m walkway is built on tree tops and is the 3rd of its kind in Malaysia. The walkway system and platforms are vantage points from which one can get a panoramic view of the forest. Exciting!
